Candidates having M.Phil or 5 years relevant teaching/professional experience after post graduation, who can directly undertake thesis work for Ph.D course work in such cases may be assigned as decided by the discipline

Stream-B (category-B)

Candidates having post graduate degree, who will have to undergo basic course work before or along with undertaking thesis work school/centre/discipline/level of the programme (M.Phil/Ph.D)/category

Procedure for application: The qualifying mark is 55% in post graduation for general category and 50% for reserved category

Candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria in the respective disciplines may download the soft copy of the application form from the website link http://www.ignou.ac.in and submit the filled in form along with the following demand draft for Rs 750/- drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi

Attested copies of certificates in support of educational and experience qualifications (wherever applicable); attested copy of certificate in support of reserved category

Synopsis of the research to be undertaken for candidates applying under stream-A
